AMBIANCE GERMANIQUE (SUITE)

Je cherchais à savoir de qui était la musique d'intro et de fin de

l'étrange et prémonitoire Le monde sur le fil (1973) de RW Fassbinder. J'adore ce morceau aérien de Peter Green, intitulé Albatross, enregistré par le Fleetwood Mac première formule. Je checke sur iTunes. Je tombe sur la version idoine et aussi sur un autre Albatross très récent d'un groupe canadien nommé The Besnard Lakes. A priori j'aime aussi. Ecouté sur Youtube, le morceau fait penser en moins évident à MGMT. Mais certains les comparent aussi à leurs compatriotes Arcade Fire. A priori je n'en pense pas grand chose. Intéressé mais pour l'instant je n'irai pas jusqu'à acheter leur CD (je rappelle que le CD n'est pas cher et infiniment préférable au MP3, qui est le son le pire au monde). Je les mets sur liste d'attente…

P.S. A propos d'Allemands, il faudra que je vous parle un jour de German Oak, un groupe maudit des années 1970, qui était de Düsselforf comme Kraftwerk.

I wished to know who authored the strange and foreboding music intro and end of World on a wire (1973) from RW Fassbinder. I love this song by Peter Green, entitled Albatross, he did for the first Fleetwood Mac version. I checked on iTunes and besides this I discovered a different and very recent Albatross by a Canadian group called The Besnard Lakes. The song reminds of MGMT but with more subtlety. Some also compare them to their countrymen Arcade Fire. At first I did not think much of it. Just great. I would not buy their CD (may I recall that the CD is not expensive and infinitely better than MP3, which is the worst sound ever). I put them on my waiting list ...

P. S. Speaking of Germans I must tell you someday about the crazy German Oak, a doomed band from the 70's who was from Düsseldorf just like Kraftwerk
